Starting as the passion project of one Subetei Noykin to be a simple provider of Othardian recipes for honey wine with classic brewing techniques and flavors from the Steppe, Subetei has expanded his sourcing to farms and growers around Hydaelyn. With this and the support of it's botanist partner, Salt and Storm Brewing is proud to present a wide variety of unique and exotic drinks to suit the palette of the modern consumer.Producing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages distributed throughout Eorzea, Salt and Storm focuses on high quality ingredients and stable, flavor-focused brewing techniques that produce a superior product.Guaranteed to be delicious every time, no matter what you choose, all Salt and Storm products are personally brewed and inspected by the proprietor, Subetei, to meet exacting quality and consistency standards.Available wherever fine beverages are sold, or wholesale from our Limsa-based warehouse.

Specially created for and sold at only Salt and Storm's direct venues, distributors and partners, this menu is both a celebration of the influence good companions have on a drink and an exploration of the unique flavors and experiences they bring to the table.

  • Hausbrau | Brewed for and served exclusively at the Haus of Eden establishment, Hausbrau is a well aged barely wine that is naturally carbonated and thick on the tongue. Infused with orange zest and crystallized molasses during aging giving the wine a subtle citrus tang and a rich sweet that lingers in the mouth. Pairs wonderfully with the Haus specialty, Sangria.

Mead Catalogue

Salt and Storm Meads are brewed using handpicked spices, fruits and additives for flavor profiles not found anywhere else in the tavern! Recommended to serve chilled and undiluted.

  • Steppes Dry | Lemongrass and Ginger give this mead a warm, zesty taste that's perfect after a long day's work, or during it depending on your boss's leniency.

  • Limsan Bold | Brewed with a buckwheat honey and molasses mixture, this rum-like brew has almonds and pineapple added for a true Vylbrand flavor experience.

  • La Noscean Sundown | Lime, orange and lemon juice mixed into this mead give it a citrus packed flavor perfect for staving off scurvy and masking it's staggering alcohol content.

  • Twilight Punch | Made with a wide assortment of fruit for sweetness and flavor distilled with ice shards for an emboldening chill in every drink. Contains ice aspected aether.

  • Spiced Kaiser | With it's primary ingredients being mixed Vylbrand apples and allspice, this mead is brewed with additional honey added after fermentation for a truly delicious flavor.

  • Moon Pearl | Light but intoxicatingly flavorful, this mead is flavored with a mixture of starfruit and passionfruit for a sweet, tart, and sharp drink made for sipping long with company.

Milkbrew Catalogue

Born on the Othard steppes and brought over by the proprietor as a boy, these drinks mix old world quality with new flavors and distilling styles for an unmatched result. Store and serve chilled and undilute for best experience.

  • Kumis | Distilled from mare's milk and hand-turned to ferment, this dairy drink has a smooth, tart almond taste comparable to small ale but with a richness of milk for a unique drink.

  • Tarasun | Made from a freeze distilled milk culture using ice shards, this drink is also known as milkwhisky. Colorless, smooth and high in alcohol content, no one will laugh if you order this milk.

  • Steppe Kofye | Refined from recipes for suutei tsai, this kumis variant has concentrated coffee brew added during a cool ferment for a rich cream coffee flavor and modest alcohol bite.

  • Arhat | Aldgoat milk steeped in a mixture of black tea spices during the fermenting process, the resulting alcohol is then smoked for an outstandingly rich, woody beverage that can be drunk any time.

Non-Alcoholic Catalogue

For those wanting a clear head or abstaining but wishing to still drink the best, Salt and Storm is proud to present it's line of dry products.

  • Vale Green | Springwater boiled with vanilla and mint before being filtered through ice shard-lined honey cloth, this light green carbonated beverage has a soft, sweet flavor. Best served into an iced glass from it's original corked flask.

  • Wisebrew | Twisting a Thanalan favorite, this cactus water based drink has an additional infusion of elderberry for a sweet but light taste that quenches without overwhelming the palate.

  • Pirate Small Ale | Boiled malt and barley tea with an infusion of oak smoke, non-alcoholic but losing none of the strong flavors of it's namesake drink.
